Targeting first production Q3 2027. The Industrial Hemp Processing Project in Lendava is a forward-thinking initiative aimed at establishing a reliable, locally rooted hemp processing operation in eastern Slovenia.
Located in the heart of a strong agricultural region, the project focuses on transforming industrial hemp into high-quality hemp hurd (shives) — a versatile, sustainable raw material with growing demand in the construction and agricultural sectors. Our primary output will serve applications such as hempcrete, insulation materials, and premium animal bedding, particularly for horses.
At a time when Europe is experiencing strong and increasing demand for consistent, construction-grade hemp shives, this project seeks to contribute to a more secure and localized supply chain. By developing modern processing capabilities in Slovenia, we aim to reduce dependence on distant imports, lower the carbon footprint of transport, and support the transition toward low-impact building materials and responsible animal husbandry.
The project is currently in the development phase, with commercial production targeted to commence in Q3 2027. We will be working closely with regional agricultural producers and industry partners to ensure the highest standards of quality, consistency, and traceability from field to finished product.
